1. Your favorite chocolate treat?
There is something about a milk chocolate covered pretzel that makes my mouth water. Yep, pretzels and chocolate! Sooo good.2. What more than anything else makes you feel loved?
I know the old adage, "Actions speak louder than words," but I need the words-- and often.3. Cherries or blueberries?
Cherries, always.
Cherries, always.
4. What is the one trait you most want the leader of your country to posess?
Integrity, he/she must be trusted.
5. Are you a saver or a spender?
I'm not a saver by nature, but I have learned to be. My husband believes in cash only, so we have lived debt free for all of our marriage, but that means we have had to save in order to have some of the big ticket items we've wanted through the years. Living this way has given us peace of mind and has allowed us to focus on the retirement years when our ability to earn money will be diminished.
6. If you gave a party for all of your friends would they already know each other?
No, they wouldn't and wouldn't that make for a great party!
7. Are you interested in antiques?
I appreciate the beauty and rarity of antiques, but I have no desire to live amongst them. The few I do have are more keepsakes than anything else. I do enjoy the Antique Roadshow and often recognize an item a grandmother had or someone else in the family. Too bad we didn't know those items would one day become an antique, eh?

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Berlusconi, time to hang it up, man. It is beyond embarrassing.

I think you 'get' my answer to #6 as I imagine you also have friends round the globe. I'm thinking maybe one of my girls weddings one day will give us an opportunity to at least get some of them together.
Ok, I confess that I forgot that I do like chocolate-covered pretzels. There's something about the combination of the sweet chocolate and the salty pretzel that's addicting! ;-)
Great answers today! Is it starting to feel like Winter is over in Germany? Seems like it's staying lighter longer here....can't wait for Spring!
I really admire the way you and your husband have handled your money. I once had a supervisor who only paid cash for stuff as well. He was building a house, and when he ran out of money, he stopped building. He and his wife lived in a trailer on the property and remained in that trailer until they had finished building/paying for the house. I truly, truly admire this!!
Have you had pretzel M&M's? They are really good. I agree with you on number 8...wow.
You be grand friends with a lady at my church...she makes a different variation of chocolate covered pretzels for every event we have!
I love that you use cash only!! That is requires much discipline! Good for you!!
Wish I was a little more like you in #5.
Ooooh I totally forgot the unbelievably yummy combination of chocolate, caramel and sea salt! MMMMMMMMMMM!
Great answers!
Enjoyed your answers. Your saving answer will be something you will be very grateful for one day. I Thank God my hubby has a good retirement program.
until next time... nel
Love your answer to #8!! LOL
My husband is much like yours with money. Mine is a numbers man by trade, so that makes him very focused. It drives me crazy sometimes, because I want what I want when I want it. That is not a good way to live, so we balance each other out that way because if not for me; I think he might never spend:)
