ME

My photo
Munich, Germany
I am married to the love of my life and am finally able to shower him with all of the attention he deserves. I am now retired and living the life here in Europe. I am an American, he is an Australian, and this is our second overseas address. The first was Shanghai, China and now Munich, Germany. Come along and live the life with us as we continue our adventure of discovering all Europe has to offer.

Pictured above is my son with his oldest son who just started kindergarten today. I had the opportunity to share this special occasion with my grandson on my visit back to the states. He is waiting with his "Baba" for the school bus to come to their home. I don't know why his finger is up, but it usually means he has something important to say to one of us. Here is Dido posing for a picture his mom is trying to take on her i-phone. He was quite anxious to get on the bus and expressed his impatience at the delay over taking his photo.

Settled in the bus, with his backpack on his side, Dido (who just lost his first tooth ever) is ready to start his first day of school.
Best wishes for a wonderful school year, my sweet grandson. Mimi hopes you have lots of fun and learn many new things about your world. This is the start of a great adventure!

love the first day of school pictures, seeing the excitement of children ready to learn. Now days having a 15year old girl you just get eye rolls and sighs!
