Tis Done!

Well, it is finished.  The afghan I began nearly one year ago is finally done.  I have knitted this on planes, at knitting group, at night while watching German TV, and various other places.  It has traveled to Australia, the United States, France, and Italy to name a few.  It has been knitted, re-knitted,  unraveled, and bundled.  It was made for my son and his wife and they are thrilled with it.  Their couches are grey and chair with ottoman is red.   Just the right length and width to toss over you for a winter's nap.

Although I knit and crochet, this project was knitted.

Now, on to the next project.  A knitted sweater for my granddaughter.  Soon to be posted.

Beautiful! I don't knit, but I do crochet--sometimes. I've got an afghan I've been "working on" for a couple of years. Although it's been sitting in the closet most of that time. : )

Oh I absolutely love it! One very well traveled gift! What type of yarn did you use?

I used Red Heart yarn for this afghan. I had to knit with two colors so it is nice and warm. I like to crochet afghans because I can do it much faster, but this pattern required knitting. I knit much slower than I crochet.
